This project was all about knowing where to add and remove walls within a high-rise condo to make it more conducive to entertaining and functional in their master suite.
To begin, we opened up the dining room wall and designed a peninsula with seating. This eliminated the galley-feel in the kitchen, gave it a view of John’s Hopkins and a connection to the living room. Now, no-one feels excluded when guests visit.
To create a multi-functional master suite, we reconfigured the entrance off of the main hall which allowed for the creation of a walk through closet and laundry area connecting the master bedroom to a reconfigured bathroom. The original bath included a small shower, jacuzzi tub and double vanity. This client preferred a walk-in shower to any tub and custom cabinetry designed to fit their storage needs.
